Since 2002, Susan has been a Professional Real Estate agent on Vancouver Island, B.C.. She is affiliated with RE/MAX Camosun. It is this office that received the Broker Owner Award for Western Canada in 2006.
Raised in an entrepreneurial environment, by a family involved in the Real Estate and Retail Industries, Susan was instilled with the significance of Service. This key element, when combined with a sense of complete dedication and integrity, forms the basis for her commitment to each of her clients.
The importance of service and contribution has remained an integral component of Susan’s activities. A range of involvement in various projects includes her active participation in the Bahamian Children’s Village (Freeport, Bahamas), implementing a computer/library school for the underprivileged children to attend daily. This venture was funded through Rotarian groups, both internationally and locally.
Through family association, similar funding was made available to enhance the work of Children’s Aid Societies in other jurisdictions in Canada.
Susan is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where she acquired a 4 year Honour’s Bachelor of Arts Degree.
In addition to her credentials as a licensed Sales Associate, she received certification as an accredited Mortgage Broker at the University of British Columbia. Susan is an involved participant in certified courses, offered by the Victoria Real Estate Board.
A diverse business background has enabled Susan to create and implement significant marketing initiatives for major banking institutions across Canada. Susan’s business acumen has been further enhanced through her Ownership/Management exposure with Canadian Tire Corporation’s franchise environment. She has benefited from a background marked by entrepreneurial endeavour and lifetime commitment to customer service. Her broad based experience is recognized and admired by colleagues and competitors alike.
Susan has long identified the wisdom of achieving a balance in all aspects of life. Her dedication to Family and Profession is exemplified through her involvement in other activities. One of her key passions is being an active competitor in various triathlon events across Canada.
Apart from Real Estate, Susan can often be seen cycling throughout Victoria (known as the Cycling Capital of Canada) with her clients exploring the city or extensive trail and road network on Vancouver Island.
